We started this job in mid November 2012, the brief was to remove a very wide hedge and replace with a new Beech hedge which had to give instant impact. Then to come up with a scheme to make the front garden look interesting and linked to the theme of the rest of the garden.

This hedge was around 10 - 12 feet thick until we employed a rather large digger to remove it;

The album below shows how far we have reached in just over 2 weeks, inspiration for the central focal point was gained from a visit to the amazing National Trust garden at Hidcote Manor in Gloucestershire, which I would thoroughly recommend as it is well worth a visit.
